Need somewhere to backup your data? Fed up of the hassle!?

Look no further. At Live IT we can setup your backup systems. Have them perform automatically whenever you save a file, and keep them off site in case of disaster. We can also perform full system copies, if you crash your PC so that it never comes back to life we can restore all your programs and files back to the last time we mirrored your computer's hard drive.

Our automatic backup is performed each and every time you save a file, each time you save a new copy of the file, a backup is performed, thus allowing you to restore a previous version of each file. It doesn't matter how many times you change computers: You will always know where your data is. You can browse all your files from any internet location or internet-ready mobile phone. You can share with friends and co-workers files that are too big to send through email.

Our manual backup is performed onto optical media and stored at Live IT in a fire resistant safe. We take an exact copy of your files, encrypt them and burn them to disc. You can then restore your files and folders back to how they were the last time we performed a backup.

We provide the discs and the software to back up your files. We can then come to your office to perform the backup at a cost of £50 per computer (discounts apply for more than 2 computers). Or you can perform the backup yourself and post them to us for safe keeping (this is £10 a disc, £50 initial setup). We setup your initial backup and all the software, teach you how to do it yourself, agree a date (or day a week) to perform the backup. We post you out the discs and postage envelopes required. Then you post them back to us. We keep up to 12 months worth of backup discs.

We recommend you use both our manual backup and automatic backup together, this way you have the best of both worlds. if you lose one file, you can login and restore it. If you lose all your files, you can restore them from our copy of your file structure and then pick up any files that were modified since the backup date from the automatic backup.
